What if I’m not getting
my verification text messages?
If you’re using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) with text
message (SMS):
·
Verify
that your phone number is correct
·
Make
sure your device has signal and an internet connection
·
Restart
your phone and make sure no other apps are running in the background
·
Verify
that your notifications are turned on for your device and make sure “Do not
disturb” is turned off
If you are using a third-party phone security app, note that
some block text messages and phone calls from unknown callers and might be
preventing you from receiving verification codes—within any app you may be
using, adjust your settings for text message filtering.
If you’re using
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) with an authenticator app:
·
Restart
your phone, and make sure no other apps are running in the background
·
Verify
that the date and time on your device is set to the correct time zone—having an
incorrect clock can cause verification codes to be out of sync
·
Verify
that your authenticator app wasn’t uninstalled and/or reset
·
Make
sure you're using the latest version of your authenticator app.
If you’re using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) with device
approvals:
Make sure you have push notifications enabled for the Robinhood
app — if you don't have notifications enabled, you’ll have to approve
or deny the action in the app.
·
Resend
the push notification (this will be sent to your enrolled devices)
·
Make
sure your device has signal and an internet connection
·
Try
using text message (SMS) as an alternate verification method
